Architecture Sr Specialist
Description:
* Is viewed as an expert in IT claims systems architecture. Undertakes complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT application architecture issues.
* Coordinates with systems analysts to determine requirements. Ensures that system improvements are appropriately architected for long term use. Responsible for the creation of HMO Conceptual Solution Architecture (CSA) and Logical Application Architecture (LAA) documents.
* Acts as a resource for directing, training and guiding application designers..
Qualifications:
* Can be located in Hartford, CT, Hooksett, NC or Raleigh, NC.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, at least eight, typically ten or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of six years experience application development, or the equivalent in education and work experience.
Skills Required:
* Thorough knowledge of CIGNA's claim applications and the claim architectural road map.
* Detailed knowledge of Claim data flows and application logic..
