Our client is in need of an experienced Ariba consultant with STRONG technical skills to work on Ariba Sourcing installations. Role requires a technical individual who can lead the process of implementing, configuring and testing Ariba Sourcing 4.x .



Required Experience:

- Minimum 3 years Ariba Sourcing experience and technical expertise on versions 4.x.

- Experience with configuring and hosting Ariba RFX Sourcing events

- Familiarity of advanced Sourcing functionality including surveys and advanced pricing.

- Understanding of Ariba Spend Management architecture and the Ariba Supplier Network.

- Minimum 5 years Enterprise Application Development experience

- Advanced degree or professional certifications preferred

- Multiple OS Platform Background (Windows, HP-UX, AIX)

- Multiple DB Platform Background (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)

- Multiple Application Server Background (Websphere, Weblogic)

- Multiple WebServer Platform Background

- Multiple project experience on full implementations, upgrades, enhancements, module additions, troubleshooting, fixes, support and training



Required Technical Skills:

- Expert knowledge of various languages/tools such as JSP, Java, XML, cXML and Javascript

- Deep experience with Ariba's Sourcing file configuration and security

- Deep experience in Application Testing, User Acceptance Testing, Stress Testing and Load and Balance Testing

- Ability to transfer knowledge and mentor others

- Ability to write useful technical documentation

- Good knowledge of change management and version control

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with a large team
