Job Description:

 

Work within a team that provides overall production support ranging from single user issues reported through Peregrine ticket management system to complex system level issues and outages for various portions of an ERP system. Primary responsibility will be problem management, external interfacing monitoring, log monitoring and archiving, data growth analysis, risk assesments, SOX reporting, and team knowledge sharing for the Ariba 8.1 application. After hours or weekend support may be required. Knowledgeable in all functional area within Ariba?s 8.1 version (or higher) application suite. Applicants must possess senior level knowledge and expertise in the operation, problem resolution, data setup, application architecture and design, external interfacing, and data related to the application. Applicants are required to have a strong knowledge of Unix, Windows, and Oracle. Demonstrated performance in working in a fast paced environment delivering a high degree of quality and customer satisfaction. Possess expertise and demonstrated performance in quickly resolving software and data issues associated with the Ariba application.

 

Applicants must be able to work independently within specific timelines, but also be team oriented with strong organizational and communication skills. Applicants must be capable of working efficiently and effectively in order to facilitate a high volume of requests.

Knowledge of Lawson is a strong plus. Knowledge of Lawson's PSA or SmartNotes, Business Objects' CE9 or Seagate Analysis, Ascend's ReportSafe, or Databasics is a plus
