Joint Commission Resources is currently seeking an Associate Director, Software Development to join their team in the Oak Brook, IL area. Responsible for project management of software application projects including project planning, oversight of development and quality assurance functions.  Manages Information Technology developers and contractors on assigned projects.  Manage technology projects including analysis, architecture, technical design, requirements, development, documentation, testing and deployment.  Responsible for oversight of interfaces for assigned applications.  Coordination of requirements between stakeholders, technical staff and users.  Plans, organizes, and manages projects and work plans. 

 

Requirements:  Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field.  Master?s degree preferred.  Five to seven years management experience with excellent planning, presentation, analytical and oral and written communication skills.  Experience with budget planning and expense monitoring desired.  Significant experience in change management, QA and management of test plans as well as project management of for-sale products in electronic format is required.  Experience in MS SQL Server Database (2000/2005), Windows Server (2000/2003), IIS, MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional), MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator) and MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) certificates are desirable.
