Description:
In this role, the candidate must possess understanding of general ledger (GL) and financial processing. The position works closely with business users to proactively determine business needs and implement those needs into systems requirements and IT solutions. This role will provide guidance to the project teams; work closely with the other interfacing application managers and data center staff in order to coordinate the activities and monitor the progress of the tasks.
Responsibilities include:
*Provide team supervision to ensure proper cross-training and support procedures. Manager the team's workload.
*Interface with internal clients/departments to identify and resolve application and system downtime issues; drive resources within and outside immediate scope of influence to resolve issues if needed.
*Ensure IT processes such as change management, systems development life cycly, security, and operational standard procedures are followed.
*Define and manage resources, budget, project plans, scope, issues, risks and hit key milestones for multiple projects.
*Lead a team that provides internal customers with a superior level of service and satisfaction, while meeting or exceeding the expectations and commitments that have been set.
*Ensure that business critical IT services are resolved in a timely manner in the event of service disruption.
*Manage upgrades and rollouts of new software releases.
*Train, mentor employees and perform performance appraisals.
