Automated QA Engineer

  Thorough Understanding of the SDLC as it applies to QA artifacts, processes and activities

Ability to define/document/maintain test approach utilizing QA and testing standards

Conduct group tests, test scripts, report and track any deviations

Review application documentation to ensure highest level of quality(Ex. Requirement docs, Training docs, Design docs, Use Cases

Ability to test software applications (Write and execute test cases; Identify defects)

Communication Skills

Collaborate with the Project Management group to ensure appropriate QA information is updated and distributed to necessary stakeholders (Ex. Test Estimates, Test Plans, Test Cases)

Writes and distributes effective e-mails that consists of the "right? information and that is clear and concise

Ability to work autonomously with very limited supervision as well as collaboratively with others

Technical QA Abilities

Enhance current manual, automated and load testing methodologies preferably using Quality Center/Quick Test Pro/WinRunner/Load Runner

Extensive experience developing complex SQL queries using querying tools

Ability to develop PL/SQL blocks, stored procedures

Comfortable with loading test data into databases and query execution

Understands ETL processes and testing

Experience with Unix shell scripting/Unix commands to execute automated processes
