Automation (Loadrunner) Consultant

Visionary Integration Professionals (VIP), a rapidly growing consulting practice, seeks to add an Automation (LoadRunner) Consultant. The ideal candidate should be an experienced consultant capable of designing and implementing performance testing methodology using Mercury LoadRunner tool. The typical engagements consist of analysis, planning, training,implementations, knowledge transfer, and client mentoring/consulting.

The position requires previous professional services experience, a strong technical background with programming experience in C/C+++, Visual Basic, J2EE, and/or Java, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good oral and written communication, and strong organizational skills.

Preferred skills and experience include previous use of Mercury LoadRunner or other Mercury tools (Quality Center, QuickTest Pro, WinRunner), scripting using Perl, VB Script, Java Script, SQL, Batch Files, Korn Shell, C Shell, etc, Unix/Linux knowledge, web-based and ERP (SAP, Oracle) packaged applications, advanced networking knowledge and database administration experience (Oracle).

Since the majority of our consulting work is done at client sites, the position requires a minimum of 75% travel to North American locations. The newly hired resource should be located within a reasonable commuting distance (50 miles) of a major metropolitan area.

As a Mercury Premier Partner, VIP offers our consultants specific expertise, training and certification (CPC, CI) on Mercury tools.
