BI Architect needed in MA

The Business Analytics & Reporting team is responsible for Client?s Business Intelligence Applications world wide.  This group ensures the successful delivery of BI projects, key metrics, reporting and analysis, supporting both internal and external customers.

 

Essential Functions:
This person is responsible for the architecture, development and support of Monster?s BI platform and applications. The successful candidate will be able to lead and mentor fellow team members to strengthen the Business Objects capabilities of the Business Analytics and Reporting unit. This person will be working with program/project managers and the data architecture team. The successful candidate will have hands on, in depth, experience and expertise with the Business Objects Designer product and ability to design universes from the ground up against both dimensional and relational schemas. In addition this person must have the ability to create complex reports in Crystal and Web Intelligence. The BI architect will be building, guiding the development and deploying multiple dashboards utilizing Dashboard Manager. Extensive experience in administering Business Objects environments is necessary and knowledge of change management/version management best practices is required. Performance tuning and SDK customization skills are highly desired. This individual must provide strategic thought leadership to leverage business intelligence applications for collaboration, benchmarking, scorecards and analytics whilst applying visualization and usability techniques. The candidate will also create and publish reporting standards for the organization, develop a channel for publishing high value reports created by power writers and coordinate context specific training for applications deployed.

Qualifications:5+ years technical knowledge in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Reporting preferred.  5+ years hands-on experience as a Business Objects developer/administrator (5.x,6.x & XI) would be a plus. 3+ Years Universe Design Development and other BO tools: Designer, Auditor, Broadcast Agent, WEBI, Crystal, Crystal Enterprise is desired. 2+ years hands on experience with Dashboard Manager, Performance Manager & Predictive Analytics. 2+ Years experience in setup and execution of technical project plans. 3+ years of hands on experience with SQL development and SQL Server 2000/2005. 3+ years experience with various database design, data marts, data warehouse solutions and ETL tools (Data Integrator & DTS is a plus). 2+ Experience leading and/or managing development teams and maintaining technical project plans. BRIO is a plus. Siebel Integration Kit knowledge is a plus
