BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST - SENIOR

The candidate filling this Senior Business Systems Analyst position will work as part of the development team to perform analysis for system enhancements, generate specifications and database mappings. The ideal candidate will: Provide requirements analysis and systems analysis for enhancements for management and reporting applications. Document requirement changes, update technical specifications for web user interface and batch components that are used to define test administrations, order test materials, collect pre-id, load and extract data from Oracle database for reporting purposes. Support the code changes. Test the changes. Support STEP testing and production use. Write detailed database mapping specifications for many batch components that are used to define test administrations, order test materials, collect pre-id, load and extract data from Oracle database for reporting purposes. The ideal candidate must have: 4 years technical writing (requirements, specifications, test cases), detailed specifications of mappings between interface files and database. Basic UNIX commands. Must have knowledge and experience with Oracle and SQL. Must be able to develop and execute test cases, and analyze problems in testing and production environments. Good oral and written communications skills in order to consult with clients, vendors and other internal staff are required. Assessment processing knowledge is a plus, e.g., order management, pre-id, reporting.
Education - The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with coursework in the information processing or business-related curricula, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired is necessary.
