Basis Administrator

This position provides a support role for an N-Tier processing environment by effectively performing the following functions:  production planning and scheduling, installation / configuration / upgrade of software packages, coordination of change into a production environment, and actively participating in problem resolution. This position provides support for the IBM Tivoli Monitoring system in a SAP environment.  

This support role is accomplished by maintaining the accuracy of all information in job scheduling systems, placing new jobs into the scheduling systems, coordinating changes to applications, recommending changes to the Harley-Davidson Business Resumption Plan, and responding as a second level resource to the Computer Support Center.  

Further responsibilities include the management of 3rd party software tools such as N-Tier tools like job scheduling, console management, job accounting, problem notification and data transference.
