Job Description (Salary $29,200 - 37,000):
Technology responsibilities include:
- Provide first level support on all technology issues with the goal of minimizing business disruptions for financial professionals.
- Daily activities include:- Distributes new computer software within 48 hrs of arrival.
- Provide technology orientation to new associates to introduce AXAonline, eDOX, how to access emails, and other programs.
- Provide hardware and software support/troubleshoot systems issue immediately - if not able to address immediately, at least communicate to the user of when it can be addressed.
- Coordination of local IMAC process (installations, moves, adds and changes)
- Assist in local rollouts/upgrades/software distributions. -- Provide daily updates on technological issues.
- Act as the first point of contact for Field Management, Financial Professionals and - Branch Staff with questions or concerns regarding local technology issues.
- Responsible for communicating daily issues/updates on the local technology platform to Financial Professionals and Branch Staff.
- Ensures that all technology updates and issues are communicated in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provides constant updates to the Division regarding local issues, specifically hardware, software and field issues within the technology tool-set.
- Responsible for monitoring of local telecommunications, equipment phone system, OA server, T1 lines, switches/hubs, etc for headquarters and/or detached locations.
- Coordinates, facilitates and participates in technology training.
- Travel to detached locations to provide additional support to the detached top producers, visiting them at least once a month of more if necessary. This includes providing enhanced support to QLG/PPG producers.




Job Requirements:
- College degree highly desired preferably in the technology area.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology support role that required heavy internal customer communication and interface to resolve issues.
- Financial services industry background preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Windows operating systems.
- Communications skills are critical to this role. The ability to communicate technical concepts in an easy to understand manner and style is imperative.
- The successful incumbent must be flexible and adaptable to the changing business environment, associate learning styles and possess the ability to communicate with all levels of individuals with the utmost professionalism.
