The Time Warner Cable Corporate office currently seeks a/an Business Analyst, EBIS Group for our Technology Service Group Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.



Essential Job Functions:
Address and resolve user questions involving data, tool usage, and reporting; Provide user training on tool usage and reporting; Monitor production processing results; Assist development team in troubleshooting processing failures; Participate/Contribute in development of Cognos PowerPlay cubes; Participate/Contribute in development of Cognos ReportNet Reports; Participate/Contribute in development of SQLs to support in Cognos Development; Lead requirements gathering and analysis sessions with business/end users; Participate/Contribute in technical design sessions; Participate/Contribute data modeling efforts; Provide weekly status reports to team lead and manager; Support EBIS team in successful delivery of projects; Support EBIS team in successful delivery of projects; Primary support responsibility will be for PeopleSoft Financials application or cable billing systems.


Job Requirements:
Experience working with cable billing systems such as ICOMS, CSG, and ACP is a plus; Experience with data modeling and BI modeling strategies is a plus; Experience with Cognos or other Business Intelligence software is a plus; Experience with Oracle databases is a plus; Experience with ETL (Informatica) programming is a plus; Experience working with enterprise scale data warehouses is a plus;



Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent training, education and experience;3 ? 5 years experience BI reporting and analysis; 3 ? 5 years experience querying databases and analyzing data; 3 ? 5 years experience supporting end users and production processing results; Must have good skills in data analysis, problem solving, oral and written communication; Must have ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
