Partner with business owners to define and plan IT projects, define functional requirements, design technology solutions, and manage project activities.? Expected to work with vendors, technology staff, and other of ettain groups clients team members to ensure system solutions meet business owner expectations. ?Job Duties
Collaborates with business owners, vendors, and technology staff to evaluate 3rd party solutions or design custom technology solutions.
Develops RFI/RFP documents, defines vendor selection criteria, and participates in the vendor evaluation/selection process.
Partners with team members at multiple locations to understand business needs and translate those needs into functional requirements.
Collaborates with system analysts to refine functional requirements and develop technical specifications.
Identifies and researches current system, reporting, and process problems.
Provides ongoing functional support for deployed solutions.
Develops functional system design deliverables, such as system diagrams, use cases, and logical data models.
Assist as required to define and document test cases and test plans, and participate in all testing phases (unit/integration, system, regression, and user acceptance testing).
Defines system roll-out strategies, with input from systems analysts.Qualifications
5- 8 years related experience.
Undergraduate degree in business, computer science, or a related field.? Masters degree preferred.
Experience with Hospitality systems a plus.? This would include Point-of-Sale, Concierge, Facilities Maintenance, Billing, and Security systems.
Understanding of general business processes as well as system development life cycle.
Experience specifying requirements and negotiating with external teams and resources to implement solutions.
Ability to quickly understand legacy systems, data models, and information structures.
Expertise with Microsoft Office products, including Project and Visio.
