Business Analyst - Application Development

Assignment Analyze business needs and shape solution to address business needs. - Facilitate requirements gathering through a variety of requirements elicitation techniques. - Apply the use case approach to document and communicate functional requirements. - Facilitate discussions of requirements scope, priority, and dependencies. - Work with application architects, developers, & testing coordinators to ensure requirements understanding. -Work with application architects and developer to produce technical documentation. - Document business requirements accurately and timely. - Perform periodic functionality verification testing of derived requirements.

 

Primary Responsibilities

1) Business Analyst on Engineering Business application development team.

2) Define and document application requirements.

3) Provide product demonstrations.

4) Create project artifacts/documentation.

5) Participate in functional product testing.

 

Required Technical Skills

1) Business Analysis ? 3 years of experience

2) MS Office Suite

3) MS Project

 

Preferred Technical Skills

1) Experience with iterative development methodology and artifacts

2) Visio

3) Rational Suite (Rose, Requisite Pro, Clear Quest, etc.)
