Key Qualifications and Requirements:



 

?  Extensive experience with full life-cycle development methods ? object-oriented and/or structured analysis & design

?  Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience developing computer applications

?  Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering project documentation including requirements analysis, technical specifications, coding standards, use case analysis, test scripts, and user acceptance criteria

?  Demonstrated experience in applying new and/or experimental technology to the innovative solution of business problems.

?  Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customer base

?  Strong planning, organizational, project management and problem solving skills with the ability to foster open communication and collaboration

?  Excellent verbal and written communications as well as interpersonal skills

?  Must possess a wide degree of creativity and latitude demonstrating the ability to think outside the box, be innovative, and forward thinking

?  Must be able to work in a real time, fast paced environment

?  Needs to possess extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

?  Demonstrated ability to be a ?quick study? of the business? concepts, practices and procedures

?  Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience





 

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:



 

?  Support an overall data strategy, governance, and architecture team.

?  Gather requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases and workflow analysis.

?  Analyze, design, and document the processes and development templates for the documentation of business needs, project proposals, business requirements, functional specifications, software requirements specifications, and technical specifications required by Sales & Marketing Technology Services. 

?  Define and document application procedures, business processes, and functionality across business units.

?  Analyze the information received from users to distinguish their task needs from functional requirements, business rules, suggested solutions, and extraneous information.

?  Identify opportunities to improve business processes. Develop presentation material and white papers to clarify the opportunities and socialize the concepts with the business community.

?  Understand the business case behind each project. Develop business process reference models as required.

?  Translate the business requirements into functional specifications and traditional data models.

?  Produce scope documents, requirements specifications, functional specifications, and both logical and physical data models.

?  Work with Lead Developers to insure that functional, non-functional, and data requirements can be met technically.

?  Work with the Project Manager to insure business requirements are met within timelines.

?  Insure that business requirements are met through design, quality assurance, and implementation

?  Review and approve all relevant documentation.

?  Stay current with new technology and its potential application to on-going business challenges.  Recommend potential applications of new technology to the business while managing risk
