Business Analyst / Systems Technologist MI

JOB DESCRIPTION: This position manages the design, development and analysis of information systems. The following areas of technical expertise will be utilized in this position: systems and computer programming/analysis, applications programming, software development, systems integration and related disciplines. This position will require an individual to apply current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation and integration of computer systems as well as performing structured systems analysis, design and testing. This individual will analyze business needs and create written functional specifications as well as develop test plans and coordinate testing activities. Follow up to these tasks will require using effective written materials including: presentations, analytical diagrams, system specifications, test plans, project schedules, resource utilization models, and task lists.




REQUIRED SKILLS:

Candidate will have 4-6 years experience in systems engineering field and m ust have strong systems knowledge with an understanding of underlying aspects of web-based services, databases, browsers, SQL Server and Windows NT 2000. Experience in designing web sites and knowledge of hardware architectures is required of this position. Candidate must possess project management skills as well as excellent written and oral communication skills. Candidate must be able to interact appropriately with potential and current customers and have the ability to communicate effectively. Candidate must be capable of handling multiple tasks in both individual and team environments.



EDUCATION REQUIRED (INCLUDING MAJOR):



Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
