Job Responsibilities
? Researches, analyzes, tests and supports the implementation of technology solutions (internal and external) based on a solid understanding of IFS business objectives.
? Leads the effort from a Business Unit prospective in collaboration with IS, to successfully define, create, test and deliver technology solutions that increase productivity and automate workflow.
? Identifies opportunities for technology improvement; suggests creative solutions. Leads the business requirements gathering to determine the feasibility of computer system and technology driven projects and enhancements often as the project lead representing IFS.
? Works closely with the various Business Units to clearly understand their processes and procedures in order to recommend solutions that are efficient and fit within expense constraints. This will require the ability to identify and analyze alternatives that do not simply mechanize current processes.
? Gathers and analyzes data from several databases for IFS Management, external clients, and other WSFG department. Creates ad hoc queries, reports and mailing lists. Develops creative methods for distribution of reports for different areas of IFS.
? Acts as project leader for IFS projects of varying size and scope.
? Develops and executes detailed test plans. Reviews and ensures all aspects of new functionality and enhancements meet expectations and function as designed before implementation. Completes initial end-user testing and facilitates user acceptance testing.
? Prepares written documentation for application/process functionality in an easy to understand, non-technical style.
? Assists in the technology vendor selection and manages specific vendor relationships.
? Manages multiple assignments, deadlines and priorities.
? Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements
? Bachelor's degree in a business related field, such as marketing/communications, information technology, finance, business management, etc. or commensurate selection criteria experience.
? Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, MS Access and database applications, Crystal Reports and/or other query/report writing applications .
? Proven experience coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously and completing assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis. Must demonstrate a strong attention to detail with excellent organization skills. Expected to cite examples of organization and time management/methods used to manage or prioritize workload demands.
? Possesses and displays excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to successfully interpret and communicate business needs to internal and external customers in a clear, focused and concise manner. Will be expected to provide examples of written work such as requirements documents, test plans, correspondence, memos, etc.
? Must be able to cite examples of participating in large-scale projects that demonstrated testing execution and skills.
? Must be able to cite examples of excellent analytical and problem solving.
? Must be able to cite successful examples of completing projects in a demanding, high- volume environment.
? Demonstrated ability to effectively interact and communicate with various levels of staff and management, in technical and non-technical terms.
? Must be able to cite examples of self-motivation and experience working independently
? Demonstrated experience in customer service or client management to include identifying problems/issues, providing and initiating effective resolutions.
? Must possess and display flexibility to transition between projects quickly, maintain positive, energetic attitude and possess the ability to work within a team environment.
