Business Applications Developer

PharmaCare, a wholly owned subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy and a leader in the Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) and Mail Service Pharmacy industries currently has an exciting opportunity as a Business Applications Developer.

Responsibilities include mid to senior level .NET technology development using ASP.NET, VB.NET/C#.Net, XML, XSLT, XML Web Services, Remoting, SQL 2000 and Oracle Technologies; developing solutions by mapping a customer?s business problem to an end-to-end technology solution; developing a complete lifecycle of large and complex projects, using advanced analysis and experience in principals of software design and deployment to define appropriate customer solutions, translating business requirements into functional and technology requirements; developing and maintaining multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction; handling multiple projects simultaneously as well as meeting deadlines within tight schedules. Additional duties may be required to meet the organization?s business needs.

Requirements:

Requirements include: Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science; Excellent understanding of Object Oriented Programming Methodology, Strong N-tier architectural development skills with at least 3+ years in developing core classes on the .NET framework; Expertise in writing web services and business logic components based on design specifications from the requirements documents;
Strong server side coding skills and good understanding of datagrid and repeater controls as well as good understanding of templates; Extensive experience in using ADO.NET, documentation both in line and design docs, experience in unit testing tools; Ability to design and implement user web controls for the presentation layer, Knowledge of some of the more advanced technical aspects of the .NET FRAMEWORK; Development that includes dynamic data grids, custom paging, user controls, data caching and persistence; strong SQL skills, ability to use Visual SourceSafe for version control; and excellent communication skills. Experience in Java, JSP is a big plus.
