Business Information Architect AVP

Develops, maintains, and implements the corporate information architecture strategy.

1. Manage the data standards process and monitors for consistent adherence.

2. Leads the development of a warehouse architecture in support of Business Strategy.

3. Ensures that BI solutions and all future data warehouse development efforts are aligned to ensure compliance with the long term strategy.

4. Defines tasks and responsibilities for designing the conceptual and physical architecture to deliver the ?single version of the truth? foundation that will facilitate the delivery of BI solution projects.

5. Leads the development of the conceptual models for the Core Business Subject Areas of the warehouse strategy through leveraging SMEs and staff as needed and integrating them into a Enterprise Conceptual Model

6. Works with the IT Data Modeling area to ensure LDW physical structures, like conformed dimensions, are aligned with long-term business needs.

7. Sets design specifications for end-user semantic layers and multi-dimensional models across all BI tools and environments.

8. Ensure that the business needs around data integration, data persistence and data availability are satisfied by architectural solutions.



Requirements:


Competencies:
1. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing using appropriate language and examples to employees as all levels of the company.
2. Ability to track and monitor project progress and status across various teams.
3. Create data models, interpret the output using this information to make decisions.
4. Analyze report and application requests for data sourcing needs.
5. Recognize and organize problems in order to gain systematic and effective solutions.
6. Strong problem solving skills.

Technical Skills:
1. Bachelor?s Degree in Information Systems or sufficient business related experience.
2. Over 5 years of SQL, VBA, Data Modeling experience required.
3. 5 years industry experience required in the field of data architecture or data warehousing.
