Business Intelligence Architect and Team Lead

The Business Intelligence architect leads a team responsible for designing, architecting, and deploying solutions across a wide variety of business intelligence disciplines to include ? business requirements analysis, data warehouse and data mart design, data transformation / integration, OLAP, enterprise reporting, executive dashboard, etc.

 

The BI architect will lead a business intelligence practice group primarily focused on architecting and delivering end to end business intelligence solutions based upon leading edge technologies from Microsoft, Cognos, Informatica and others.

 Overall Responsibilities

 ? Lead a team in implementing solutions to the specific needs of our various clients ? Work directly with clients to assess business needs and translate into effective technical solutions.? Suggest innovative solutions to business problems that leverage technology to provide marketing differentiation, efficiency improvements, and better user experiences. ? Participate in overall project management, time estimates, and resource scheduling for multiple concurrent projects for multiple clients.

 Skills Required

 ? 10+ years experience in BI related disciplines (data warehouse design, data integration, OLAP, reporting) ? Experience building and leading teams in a consulting practice environment? Demonstrated experience designing and implementing OLAP solutions utilizing various products? Demonstrated experience implementing a front-end reporting solutions (Crystal, COGNOS, Business Objects, Brio, etc.)
