Business Intelligence Designer

Sykes Enterprises, Incorporated is looking for a Business Intelligence Designer to fill a requirement at a customer site in Texas City, TX.  This assignment is expected to go through December 2007 with the possibility of extension.

Business Intelligence Designer
Individual will be responsible for overall business analysis, data analysis, user interface analysis and implementation of business intelligence components of a business performance management solution.

Must have experience leading, designing and implementing business intelligence solutions including Business Performance Management (BPM/BI) and executive dashboard solutions.
Key Responsibilities ?
? Develops and implements tools and applications for accessing and analyzing key performance indicators.
? Interprets business requirements and architects solution
? Assists Architect to identify/validate potential technical solutions to meet end user information needs
? Designs and develops training for end users

 

Key Skills ?
? Implementation experience in business performance management and dashboard solutions
? Strong experience with performance management tools such as Business Objects.
? Ability to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions
? Strong knowledge of SQL, SQL Server and or Oracle database concepts
? Familiarity with dimensional modeling concepts
? Familiarity with process modeling concepts
? Strong communication and training skills
? Ability to analyze Enterprise Warehouse data

Professional Experience - Must have 5 or more years experience in a business intelligence designer role on Data Management projects.
