Business Measurement Specialist

Job Summary
This position is responsible for developing, reporting and analyzing metrics at the enterprise, business process and functional organization level. It accomplishes this by a combination of working with others and complementing themselves. Also responsible to review metrics developed throughout the organization to insure they are consistent and effective. This person also plays a key role in defining the methods for metrics development and deployment and insures that appropriate measurements are used.

 


Qualifications Required
Experience
5-10 Years if business process or quality management
3 years in design and implementation of measurement programs
Oracle 11i ERP implementation
Noetix reports a plus
Developing web pages for data display
ASQ or PMI certification, six sigma green or black belt

Skills and Abilities
Demonstrated completion of multiple projects on schedule & budget
Theory and practice of business process measurement
Data representation and reporting
Strong analysis, including statistical analysis
Leadership and mentoring
Written and verbal communication skills
Strong project management skills
Team affiliation and motivational skills
Proficient in Windows suite
Construction of simple online data and collection tools
Willingness to take risks and lead change
Experienced and successful in multiple job assignments
Proven ability to accomplish goals through collaborative effort.
Prior experience in legalized gaming or another regulated industry a plus.

Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with process team, managers and business leaders to define key measures for the company and identify opportunities for improvement, when feasible.
Provide expertise in all aspects of metrics definition, data collection, measurement representation, and data analysis.
Perform analyses of measures to determine trends, correlations and sensitivity of those measures.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the measurement program and implement changes to improve it.
Design data representation and web pages; implement or oversee implementation of the pages.
Research and test new tools and techniques sharing best practices with WMS Gaming?s quality teams and key employees
Conduct written and oral project updates
Utilize Best Practices where possible to accelerate change.
