Job Summary:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

1. Extensive knowledge of ACORD standards, specifically ACORD XML Property/Casualty standards and specific project experience in this area- candidates do not need to be technical experts, but need to understand how to elicit and document business requirements for a project that will be enabled with ACORD XML and an EDI technical architecture.
2. Experience working directly with agents/brokers on agency carrier interface projects, on the business and/or IT side.
3. Knowledge of Applied, AMS, or other management systems is a plus.
4. Experience with insurance statistical reporting processes and systems, specifically a deep understanding of P&C transactions, lines of business and data- does not need to be a technical expert but rather a business expert, understanding of the technology is a plus.
5. Experience with underwriting and policy administration systems, specifically how they interface with statistical reporting systems.
6. Minimum 6 years experience in business analysis, preferably in commercial insurance.
7. Knowledge of Zurich processing systems strongly preferred.
8. Experience in mainframe and PC environments with experience in insurance operations beneficial.
9. Excellent analytical and planning skills necessary with ability to effectively manage changing priorities.
