The mapping analyst review and code to specification created for them. Most maps created for healthcare real-time transactions are done utilizing ASC X12 format or SMP, but analyst must also be able to create proprietary maps. The analyst are required to do testing of transactions created by their team and support production by doing research of potential production maps issues and mapping changes as needed.

The Mapping analyst should be able to quickly adapt to an ever changing environment. This environment can be high stress at times. The analyst should be able to cope and adjust to this environment. Experience and detailed knowledge of the ASC X12 format Experience with the healthcare insurance industry preferably in the real time transaction environment. 1-2 year experience with a front end translator such as Paper Free, Mercator, Sterling, Symphonia, etc... 1-2 year experience creating and running test scenariosPractical experience with Symphonia Mapping system preferred
