Business Systems Analyst - Marketing

As a member of the Front Office IT group, you will play a key role in driving, developing and supporting solutions for the Marketing function. Ideal candidate for this position will be a person with a strong background in Marketing, Web Portals, and IT applications. You will work closely with senior management, subject matter experts and IT teams to define business requirements and implement solutions for your two areas of responsibility. This person will define and maintain the Marketing applications and technology roadmap based on business strategy, drivers and priorities; drive key initiatives to completion; and ensure deliverables meet business needs, technology direction, their plan of record and budget. This person will manage and guide project team through software development methodology, including project assessment, planning, design, build, QA and implementation; provide technical and functional support for project team, participating in reviews, alternatives and technical direction in all phases of the development and implementation life cycle; and conduct effective project meetings; publish minutes, and track issues and actions to resolution. This person will gather and track business and functional requirements, define project scope, write detailed functional and technical specifications, provide impact assessments, identify gaps, evaluate change requests, capture and prioritize bugs, and vendor analysis. This role will provide on-going feedback and status of projects to IT and business areas, identifying any variances to plan and proposing solutions and alternatives for the variances; and support project team members through communication and issue/action tracking with project sponsors, IT management, business representatives, and cross-functional organizations.

A minimum of 5 years of recent Business Systems Analysis and project management with Marketing function is required. 7 years of experience with requirements gathering, documentation, hands-on detailed systems, data modeling, development and implementation is necessary. The ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within established budgets and time lines, the demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new and changing technologies, applications and solutions; and solid software development and application implementation background is required. Candidates must have experience with assisting management in planning and prioritizing system requirements. This requires excellent communication, organization, leadership, time management, and solution-oriented skills. Candidates must be a team player with the ability to identify issues and be proactive in driving solutions. Strong project management skills are a must. Knowledge of -best practices- in operations and cost management are a plus. Candidates must be comfortable working in a challenging, dynamic and fast-paced environment.
