Job Description:
This is a business analyst position in Business Architecture, which is part of Enterprise Architecture (EA). The BA department is responsible for planning and executing the Architecture Summits, overseeing and facilitating the ongoing collaboration between enterprise and domain architects, and doing cost analysis on various platforms such as Java vs. .NET. The department is also responsible for implementing a vision for Business Architecture as one of the four cornerstones of Enterprise Architecture. Qualifying candidates will have 1-3 years background in Enterprise Business Architecture with the ability to perform the following: - Contribute toward development of "as is" and "to be" architectures from a business perspective by analyzing business strategy and goals - Help develop business process models (BPM) and identify business elements - Distill high-level corporate goals (i.e., Vision 2011) into tangible business architecture artifacts and deliverables. 1-3 years experience in a financial instituion and/or acting in a financial capacity in IT in order to assist with: - Cost-to-serve models for various technology platforms and other cost-benefit analysis as required - Using metrics to better illustrate the progress and effectiveness of EA You can view all of our jobs online at http://www.act1tech.com/?sc=11
