BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST 3

Description and Responsibilities:

? Assist a government client in executing the Management Control Program as required by OMB Circular No. A-123 "Management's Responsibility for Internal Control" as implemented by DOD Directive 5010.38 "Management Control Program" and DOD Instruction 5010.40, "Management Control Program Procedures".

? This effort includes enhancing the process by which information is compiled, evaluated, and verified in support of the annual Statement of Assurance (SOA) and monitoring corrective actions through the organization.

? Business Systems Analysts shall assist in maintaining the government's MCP and with monitoring corrective action plans throughout the organization.

? Business Systems Analysts shall work with the government to ensure that all applicable deadlines are met.

? The government has an operating MCP, and the individual in this position will assist the government managers in future development of requirements as the program evolves from the recently revised OMB Circular No. A-123.

? These and other contract activities serve as the primary basis for support to produce financial statements that fully and accurately disclose the financial position and results of operations of the client.

Requirements:

? MINIMUM of 2 - 5 years experience.

? Requires  a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a general Business discipline.

? Must have 2 - 5 years experience in Financial Management/Government Accounting.

? Knowledgeable in federal financial laws and regulations (e.g., Prompt Payment Act, Federal Managers' Financial Integrity Act, Anti-Deficiency Act, CFO Act, GPRA, etc), OMB Circulars and Bulletins (e.g., Management's Responsibility for Internal Control, Financial Management Systems, Financial Accounting Principles and Standards, etc), Accounting and Information Technology Standards (e.g., FASAB, etc), and DoD financial directives.

? Must have strong accounting skills, strong analytical skills, and good communication skills.

? Security Clearance:  Current Top Secret / SCI Counter Intelligence Polygraph (TS/SCI CI Poly)

? The client requires background, drug and professional reference checks. 

Salary commensurate with experience and ranges from $60,000 to $90,000.
