Business Systems Specialist

American Girl is seeking a Business Systems Specialist to join our IT team at our headquarters in Middleton, Wisconsin, near Madison.

The purpose of this position is to provide project management and business analysis support for American Girl retail operations. This is a key role to support retail expansion and supply chain optimization. Responsibilities include project management, business process modeling and requirements, testing, business case preparation and prioritization, and evolution of the IT retail strategy and support model.

Requirements include:
- 5 or more years of IT experience
- Proficiency in business requirements, high-level design, and project planning
- Experience using POS and retail merchandising systems, Oracle Designer, Oracle Applications
- Retail systems experience
- Strong communication skills inside and outside of IT

Strong candidates will also possess:
- Project management experience
- System development training/experience
- Experience with Datavantage, Infogenesis, and Oracle ERP
- Bachelor's degree preferred. If no degree, significant equivalent experience is required.
