CAD Data Leader

Magna International?s Cosma Engineering group develops technologically advanced automotive systems that are used to build many of the best selling cars, vans, trucks, and sport utility vehicles worldwide.  We currently have opportunities available for a CAD Data Leader for our Troy, Michigan location.

 

This position works with IT Manager to supervise and develop efficient data transfer process and insure the integrity of data transfer between OEM?s and customer using i.e. VPM, TEAM Center, AutoWeb, etc. and future technologies and advancements.

 

 

Key responsibilities include:

?  Develops efficient methods for data transfer between OEM and customer.

?  Monitors daily activity of the Data Coordinators.

?  Maintains contact with data coordinators to ensure high customer satisfaction.

?  Deals with all customer requests and complaints.

?  In conjunction with IT department develop engineering solutions utilizing the most recent software packages.

?  Assist and participate with IT department to identify software and hardware needs to improve or enhance data transfer processes.

?  Assist in the development of the automation of data and design data translation between cad systems and neutral file formats.

 

To succeed and to be considered for this position, you will need:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or Systems Technology; with five years related experience and/or training
