CCNA certified Technician

The ideal candidate MUST have a current CCNA certification and must be willing to work the following hours:Monday - Thursday: 1:00am - 8:00am Saturday: 7:30pm - Sunday 8:00am

 

Additional Skills:The candidate must be mature and responsible, and must be able to work unsupervised1-2 yrs network experience requiredExperience in the telecommunications industry and/or networking professional experience with a broad range of knowledge in LAN/WAN technologies. The candidate must have knowledge and understanding of information systems and/or telecommunications systems; conceptual, analytical and innovative problem-solving ability.He/she must have effective verbal and written communication skills and have ability to work under pressure in a busy environment, deal sensitively in a multi-cultural environment, and build effective working relations with clients and colleagues.MASTERY is required of the following:
Local Area networks and associated equipment such as routers, hubs, switches etc., Multiplexers, CSU/DSU, Diagnostic equipment such as firebird protocol analyzer, data scopes, oscilloscopes, breakout boxes, and Time Domain reflectometers (TDRs), etc.UNDERSTANDING is needed of the following:Advanced diagnostic equipment such as Spectrum Analyzer; Transmission protocols (Ethernet, TCP/IP,ISDN, Frame Relay, TDM/FDM, HDLC, SDLC, H323, H320).Satellite and fiber based (WAN) wide area networks; VSAT technology, Voice, data and video over IP, Voice, data and video over frame relay, Video conference and multi-conference bridging equipment, PBXs, Nortel Passport equipment, and Remote Access Connectivity
