CIO

A growing, energetic Hampton Roads company is actively seeking a CIO.

 

This position will be responsible for designing and implementing the growth and evolution of all internal IT systems and processes including installations, testing, asset tracking, selection and implementation/installation of hardware and software.

 

The incumbent will work closely with company management to ensure the IT group continues to support the company?s mission, researching the business needs of each department and determining the best solutions.  This individual will also maintain maximum uptime for end users by coordinating and tracking service requests and repairs, troubleshooting and maintaining file servers, user devices and communication links, and supporting e-commerce initiatives.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience running an IT function in a medium-sized company utilizing a "hands on" approach. 

 

Requires a Bachelor?s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience, experience with management of mission critical applications on SQL, as well as Novell and Microsoft, and high-end sequel accounting packages. Requires some travel.
