CIRT Security Analyst, MC1142

We have an excellent opportunity available for a CIRT Security Analyst with Xacta Corporation, our subsidiary that provides security-centric services and products in the areas of information assurance, secure wireless, and secure messaging. This position is located at the Pentagon in Arlington, VA.

 

The successful candidate will be an analyst on the Pentagon Computer Incident Response Team. The successful candidate will: Support agency customers in dealing with computer incidents on the network Conduct forensic analysis of incidents. Provides technical support to Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) Analyze traffic for security-related issues Serve on CCB and participates in ad hoc network security work groups Prepare briefings and briefs senior management The successful candidate will have a background of "digging" into the code to determine the threat  Conduct tech analysis of information systems for compliance with COMPUSEC, COMSEC, OPSEC, and TEMPEST requirements

Requirements: BA, BS, MA, MS- or equivalent in experience 3+ years experience Understanding of Incident Handling Ability to operate in MS Office environment SANS GCIH and/or CISSP desired A Secret Security Clearance preferred Must have proven skills in handling customer relationships.

 

The successful candidate will be subject to a Government security investigation, must be a US citizen, and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
