CIS / Billing Project Manager

CIS / Billing Project Manager Summary:

Our valued client is looking to add a CIS / Billing Project Manager to their team. This individual will be responsible for a successful delivery of Energy & Utilities CIS / Billing technology and process engagements. This individual will provide hands-on leadership and direction to the team as well as managing client relationships. This is a hands-on consulting delivery role; not an account management or business development role.

Responsibilities:

Will lead a project team in delivering a solution to the customer using the appropriate business measurements and terms and conditions for the project according to the project charter, project agreement or contract. Will have overall performance responsibility for managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, which includes applying techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. They are responsible for managing all project resources, including subcontractors, and for establishing an effective communication plan with the project team and the customer. They provide day to day direction to the project team and regular project status to the customer.

Requirements:

Demonstrated hands-on project management experience with at least 2 full lifecycle, successful Energy & Utilities CIS/Billing engagements involving technology and process initiatives 2 years employment in a consulting firm with consulting responsibilities; Energy & Utilities CIS/Billing focus in recent 3-5 years Direct accountability for project delivery success vSignificant consulting & client management experience with Director level and above Involvement in business case development and performance measurement Working functional and / or technical knowledge of at least one leading CIS / Billing solution including: Peace/Peace 8, Customer/1, SAP CCO, SPL/CC&B, LodeStar/Load, Bill Vision, Indus, & Banner SPL. Hands-on experience producing functional and/or technical design deliverables defined by formal, structured methodology Superb written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills Outstanding teamwork and mentoring skills Keen attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Position requires 100% travel weekly from home to client location It is also expected that newly hired resources into the BCS U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities:

Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.
