CONTRACT C++/Embedded programming position
One of our clients in Lexington-KY currently has an immediate CONTRACT opening for strong C++ programmer with embedded systems experience. This is a year-to-year contract position with benefits.
Complete Description:
* Develops, tests, and documents software programs including operating systems, applications, and/or network products.
* Duties may include research, evaluation, development, and application of new processes and methods into products. May be responsible for establishing and conducting testing routines; developing or executing project plans, budgets, and schedules; and documentation of work and results.
* Experience with C++ in an embedded environment
* Has used C++ to do Object Oriented programming - the key is strong experience with C++
Required skills:
BS in CS or EE w/ programming experience - Required
Design and development experience in Object Oriented programming - Required
Strong OO design / dev skills in C++ - Required
Experience w/ development in full s/w lifecycle - Required
Embedded operating systems experience - Highly desired
Experience developing graphical event driven s/w for Operator Panels - Highly desired
Knowledge and experience with design patterns - Required
