CS IT Operational Excellence Leader

CITY: Wauwatosa STATE: Wisconsin COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
* Work with Business Functions (NPI, OTR, Finance, ITO) and COEs for driving continuous improvement of IT Systems and to establish standards & supportable processes
* Drive Business (NPI, OTR, Finance, ITO), IT productivity and defect reduction using Six Sigma. Identify opportunities and lead improvement efforts
* Partner with functional team and COEs to improve issues resolution cycle time and reduce inflow of system problem reports (SPRs)
* Communicate weekly operational excellence status to Business functions
* Lead the prioritization of critical issues with Global Functional Superusers/Leaders
* Measure & maintain controllership through effective change control processes.
* Review system design proposals for risk to system stability and controllership. Raise awareness with IT and Functional leaders on risks and make specific recommendations to manage risks.
* Lead/participate in IT projects for deployment of systems or upgrades.


Qualifications/Requirements:
* BS in Information Technology, Business, Engineering or related discipline
* Minimum 3 years experience in IT or Business Function with major exposure to Oracle ERP, IT systems & Business processes
* Strong communication skills with both technical and functional team members at all levels of the business
* Demonstrated project management skills
* Ability to effectively translate functional business requirements into technical specifications
* Analytic and creative business-focused problem solver
* Demonstrated ability to lead teams of consultants and influence teams across in a matrix organization structure.


Desired:
* Green Belt Certified
* MBA or equivalent
* Leadership Training Program Experience (IMLP, OMLP, FMP)

GE Healthcare Clinical Systems IT Operational Excellence team is responsible for delivering world-class operational excellence for the 3.5b Clinical Systems business. This team is responsible for ensuring operational excellence of implemented it systems across all poles, regions, and functions. The application environment includes global instances of Oracle ERP, Sales Workbench, Siebel, eMatrix, Cognos, Business Objects, web applications and associated interfaces & bolt-ons. This position reports to Americas Client Service Manager- CS and works in partnership with the global Functional teams and the CS IT team.
