Our Houston, TX location is currently searching for an IT Supervisor. 

 

NCO has a state of the art call center and offers a great work environment and an experienced management team.  This position will be responsible for supporting call center IT operations by acting as First Level Support to troubleshoot and resolve system related problems plus managing a team of Network Administrators.  Assist the other support groups in the installation, maintenance and problem resolution for all LAN, Telephony, and Systems hardware and software.  Installs, configures, and maintains Microsoft Windows based servers and workstations, network print server devices, network printers, and other network peripherals devices. Performs network server backup and restore tasks.  Performs network user administration and security tasks.  Drive systems barriers to resolution with passion and urgency. Design, develop and implement solutions to improve the business.  Deliver maximum production uptime while handling multiple tasks with varied priorities. Must also communicate real time changes with sense of urgency.  Those interested should have flexible schedules, for this project is open 365 days a year.

Minimum of 2 year degree in computer science or related fields and 2 to 4 years of desktop support in a Windows environment. Experience in network administration of Windows NT/2000 and 2003 Active Directory Avaya or other PBX experience a plus. Previous experience and understanding of call center dynamics, including troubleshooting ability with high aptitude for problem solving various applications.  Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed and possess good reasoning abilities and be willing to work in a team environment.
