Change Management Analyst Senior - KJD8269

I. Job Summary:   Change Management is responsible for ensuring that
standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient
and prompt handling of all Changes, and to minimize the impact
of any related Incidents upon service. 

The Sr. Change Management Coordinator is primarily responsible
 for maintaining and enhancing the Change Management process
within BCBSMN, along with Configuration and Release Management.

 

II. Accountabilities:

 

Enhance and maintain the Change, Configuration and Release
Management program.  Develops policies and procedures for new
technologies, systems and applications.

Coordinates all changes within the production environment.  Ensures
 that requirements are met prior to production. Consults with staff and
management to preview change requests, validation plans, test plans
and results, backout plans and procedures, dependencies and overall
plans for each change.

Review change plans for business drivers, staffing, scheduling, and
identification of risks, contingency plans and allocation of available resources.

Administers standards and procedures for change management.

Maintains Change Management calendar.  Coordinates Change
Management activities and schedules.

Provides analysis of system outages as they relate to scheduled
or unscheduled changes.

Provides pre and post implementation audits.

Performs administrative functions such as reports and agendas. 

Provides pre and post implementation audits. Performs analysis of
systems outages as they relate to change management.

Consults with staff and leadership concerning Change Management issues.

III. Basic Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years IT experience including broad knowledge of IT
infrastructures.
Minimum 2 years change management and/or service management
process experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

IT Foundations and/or Practitioners Certifications
Excellent Facilitation skills and Negotiation experience.
Demonstrated problems solving skills.  Must be able to work effectively
with all levels of the IT organization.  Conflict resolution skills and
analytical skills.
Project Management experience.
