Change Management Lead

  Position Overview:   The Change Management Lead will be responsible for ensuring that standardized methods and procedures are used for efficient and prompt handling of all changes, and to minimize the impact of any related incidents upon service.  Primarily responsible for maintaining and enhancing the change management process as well as championing these processes to the other IT teams so that a change management culture is embraced.  Essential Functions: 
Enhance and maintain the Change, Configuration and Release Management program. 
Develop policies and procedures as needed and document all change management processes.
Assist with maintaining work flow processes and procedures within change management tools (tweaking the system as needed).
Coordinate all changes within the production environment.  Ensure that requirements are met prior to production.
Troubleshoot problems and implement steps to prevent problems from reoccurring. Improve change control and build processes and scripts.  Administers standards and procedures for change management.
Consult with staff and leadership concerning change management issues.
Train IT team members on current change management processes and procedures. This includes being the spokesperson for the change management team and taking a primary role in championing the change management process.
Interface with end users as well as developers on change management initiatives
Work with auditors as needed Working Environment: No special physical requirements for this position.  Position is situated in an office environment.

 Required Knowledge/Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience. 
2-3 years previous change management experience
Previous experience leading a team
Strong documentation skills.
Excellent oral and written communications and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization 
Ability to develop a strong rapport and working relationship with individuals in other areas and at all levels of the organization
Ability to train end team members.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work independently.
Demonstrated problems solving skills. 
Strong conflict resolution and analytical skills.
Willingness to respond to urgent situations outside of regular business hours. Desired Skills:
Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle.
Knowledge and experience working with MKS.
Exposure to SOX.
Exposure to Oracle development.
