Channel Marketing Manager
The Worldwide Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for planning and implementing global channel marketing policies and procedures, marketing campaigns, events and programs to ensure the success of Citrix reselling partners ? Citrix Solution Advisors. The individual in this role will work side by side with the WW Field Readiness, WW Channel Programs and the geo-based channel marketing teams to define, create, and successfully deliver appropriate channel marketing and sales tools which enable the channel to increase their revenue capacity. The WW Channel Marketing Manager will be the direct liaison with the Corporate Marketing team translating the Citrix brand strategy down through the channel ensuring a consistent brand experience. This position will work hand-in-hand with the WW Channel Programs team to launch and message all channel program launches and updates, with specific focus on Channel Competency messaging to align with Citrix Product Groups and partner market research.
Primary Accountabilities
? Develop, maintain and evolve Demand Generation Marketing Kits that increase awareness of Citrix products among the channel and drive increased revenue capacity at the partner level.
? Deliver channel communications for product launches, acquisitions, and channel program launch communications/updates to the geo-channel teams, for delivery to partners, ensuring channel awareness of the latest Citrix channel program developments.
? Develop, maintain and evolve the Worldwide Channel Brand/Events guide and Public Relations (PR) kit providing the channel with the tools to reinforce a consistent Citrix brand experience.
? Develop, maintain and evolve the Worldwide Channel Recruitment kit designed to assist internal sales teams and Distribution in the recruitment efforts of new Channel Partners by providing a series of templates, such as Ads Templates, Direct Mail, E-mail, Seminar Invites, and others.
? Manage and maintain the myCitrix Partner sites (North America, EMEA, and Pacific) for all global partners. Review and evolve all content information and standardize in a unified format.
? Manage, maintain and evolve the Partner Search Tool and Partner pages on Citrix.com.
? Design and creation of new and enhanced channel marketing collateral materials base upon geo-specific needs.
? Maintain and evolve the SI portal and awareness tools
? Assist with the execution of the WW State of the Channel Annual Survey and channel mapping exercises.
? Manage and ensure the flow of product information from business units to Citrix Channel Partners.
? Work with marketing, product management and channel sales teams to ensure accurate and compelling product positioning and messaging.
? Key member of world wide Channel MindShare virtual team.
? Manage and execute geo-based participation in Summit Week and iForum.
Qualifications
? Possess leadership and communications skills and the ability to adapt to a wide variety of environments and cultures
? Background in field and events marketing
? International marketing experience is desirable
? Strong budget management skills
? Effective at coordinating virtual resources, working effectively across teams
? Knowledge of the operations of Citrix field and inside sales, channel marketing, corporate marketing, product marketing, field readiness and consulting services.
? Strong understanding of Sales and Marketing roles in the high tech industry.
? Ability to work within a matrix management organization
Requirements: (Education, Certification, Training and Experience)
? 5 to 8 years of marketing and sales experience, preferably in a high tech industry.
? An undergraduate degree is required, MBA is a bonus, but no substitute for field experience.
? Working knowledge of channel and possess partner empathy.
? Market research experience.
? Excellent written and verbal communication skills
