Chief Technology Officer - CTO

The Company:

Hot Software LLC is a NYC based Web services company building an next-generation AJAX platform that will change the way users use the Web. We are seeking a top notch CTO/Web architect to join our team. This is a contract position but will rapidly transition to a full-time position for qualified candidates. The Company is well-funded and positioned for rapid growth. This is an exciting, high responsibility position.

 

We are seeking a top notch CTO who will serve as our senior Web architect. This is a hands-on position: you will be designing and building our platform with other developers.


- The successful candidate must be able to design, architect and implement a scalable Web service such as Flickr, Meebo, or Gmail that can scale to 100,000 users with maximum uptime. You will work with a talented team of developers.

- You have deep experience with LAMP stack, JBoss, Tapestry, Struts, Tomcat, Perl, PHP, Oracle, and any other Web technology needed. You must have experience in Web scalability, load balancing, installation of server software. You must have significant experience in programming solutions in Java / Perl / PHP / C++ - you will be developing code in this position.

- You should have working knowledge of front-end technologies like XHTML, JavaScript, Flash, and AJAX, although you will be working with other developers and designers on the front-end.

 

- You are a team player with 7+ years experience and have a great track record and great references.
