Comsys IT Partners is seeking an experienced Cisco Network Engineer for our client.

 

The candidate must be fully qualified at all aspects of LAN, WAN, and security administration, hardware and software technical support analysis, communications and network systems analysis, and configuration management. 

The primary duties of this position will be to evaluate, recommend, and support the adoption of emerging technologies to be implemented within the enterprise organization. 

 

Requirements:

 

7+ years experience designing, building, and managing global data networks.

5+ years experience with Cisco hardware and software, Advanced Routing and Switching, Remote Access, Multilayer Switching, Cisco IOS security, VPN security, and Troubleshooting.

Very strong technical design, development, test and delivery ability.

Must understand and have hands on experience with designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting IPSEC and GRE VPN tunnels on the following devices: Router-to-Router, Router-to-Concentrator, Router-to-PIX, and PIX-to-Concentrator.

Must be able to demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise with all aspects of routing and switching to included advanced IP routing, NAT, security, interVLAN routing, 802.1Q, Root Bridge, spanning-tree, and access-list.

Must be proficient with designing, installing, and supporting a wireless LAN (WLAN) environment.

Must have experience with implementing, administering, and managing F5 Load-Balancers.

Must be proficient with all layers of the OSI model and demonstrate advance skills in building and troubleshooting layer 2 and layer 3 environments.

 

Certified Training:

Valid CCNP/CCDP required (must be active)

Cisco WLAN certification a plus

Cisco Voice certification a plus
