Citrix Engineer

QualificationsHave significant experience (3+ years) designing and implementing applications for deployment in Citrix (and other) Thin-Client environments Must have intermediate-strong C++ design/development skills, although this is of secondary importance to the Citrix requirement mentioned above Must have strong verbal communications skills Bachelors Degree would be nice-to-have Must have been exposed to setting up and maintaining Single Citrix and Citrix Server Farm environments Preferably be an alumnus of Citrix

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

Candidate has extensive background (5+ years) developing products specifically to run in Citrix environment.  S/he has deep internal knowledge of the Citrix architecture, including ICA and writing applications customized to virtual channels. The ideal candidate has probably worked in a senior development position at Citrix in the past for 2+ years.  S/he has experience leading technical teams of small to medium size.  S/he has functioned at an architect level, providing high-level and detailed designs for medium-to-large features on large (500,000+ lines of code) systems.  S/he has excellent verbal and written communications skills.  S/he has deep knowledge of Windows internals including:

 

Win32 API

Multithreaded application architectures/implementations

Writing Secure Applications/knowledge of Windows security architecture

General understanding of the security domain ? PKI, etc

COM/DCOM experience

Visual Studio 6/2005

 

Candidate has strong C++ skills (5+ years), including Standard Template Library (STL).  Ability to manage several competing priorities across several projects/features.
