ClearCase Administrator needed immediately

Configuration Management Administrator needed immediately for a high profile client!!!!

Principal Duties:

The Configuration Management function supports the product development activity so that developers and integrators have appropriate workspaces to build and test their work, and so that all work products are available for inclusion in the deployment unit as required. The Configuration Management Administrator role also has to ensure that the Configuration Management environment facilitates product review, and change and defect tracking tasks. The role is also responsible for writing the Configuration Management Plan and reporting progress statistics based on change requests.

The person in the Configuration Management Administrator role must understand configuration management principles, and have experience in the use of Configuration Management tools. The Configuration Management Administrator should be assertive, in order to ensure that developers do not bypass configuration management policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:
4 years experience in Configuration Management using Rational Clearcase.
Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
Excellent oral and written communications.
High attention to detail, accurate and thorough.
Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment, and capable of meeting deadlines.
Capacity to function effectively and professionally in teams, displaying high work ethic.
Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and translate business requirements into useful user text.
Must have multi-site experience -- i.e., coordination of offshore development would be in the sweet spot.

Skills Required:

Proficiency with MS Office applications and MS Windows utilities, commands and file structures.
Knowledge of Adobe publishing tools.
Outstanding organization, analytical and problem solving skills.
Knowledge of technical writing and software documentation techniques and methodologies.
Knowledge and experience developing and delivering task-oriented technical documents, HTML-based documentation, graphic-intensive documents, online help, multimedia, and/or markup language based documents.

Additional Skills Desired:
Specific proficiency in the Rational Team Unifying Platform (TUP).
