ClearCase Systems Administrator

Our customer is located in Burlingame and is looking for a skilled ClearCase professional for a contract through the end of this year and very likely into 2007.

 

REQUIREMENTS:Candidate should have strong experience with ClearCase configuration and administration on UNIX and Windows, setting up and supporting ClearCase servers VOB, view, registry, license, performing backups, and performance tuning. Candidate should be proficent in maintaining Windows and Linux OS installing, configuring and patching. Candidate should have strong troubleshotting skills, and ability to quickly identify and solve problems, be able to work under pressure. Multisite administration and implementation experience is required.ClearCase UCM experience is required.Ideal candidate must have understanding of the software release lift cycle and be an excellent team player.

Responsibilities:

ClearCase administration to support this large organization including ClearCase MultiSite support in several separated environments. You will be supporting ClearCase clients on Windows and UNIX platforms and working close with the development and QA organizations.You will be supporting several MultiSite servers directly and indirectly.  You will also be directly involved with establishing the Configuration Management policies and helping the development organization to manage the code efficiently.
