Client Integration Programmer

Checkpoint Systems, Inc., is a leading provider of radio frequency-based product identification and shrink management solutions for retailers and consumer package goods manufacturers worldwide. We have an immediate opportunity for a Client Integration Programmer at our facility in the SE Houston area.

Responsibilities:

Consults with supervisor, systems analysts, other programmers and end users to gather information about program intent functions, data and input requirements, internal and external checks and controls, hardware and operation system environment, and interfaces with other systems.
Designs or writes program specifications.
Converts designs and specifications into computer code.
Creates test scripts and documentation on business rules.
Debugs, modifies and maintains programs written by others.
Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems or questions with programs.
Revises programs for corrections, enhancements, or system environment changes
Monitors issue log.
Maintains Holland Client Integration programs.

Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree or two years programming experience.
Must have knowledge of XML, Visual Fox pro, SQL server 2000, C#, SQL scripting, stored procedure programming.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to produce quality work with good organizational skills.
