Client Service Consultant:


 


GENERAL PURPOSE:


Client Service Consultants will work with other consultants and project managers on client engagements developing client Work clients to design, customize, and install STARS including upgrades and maintenance releases.  Provide service including assistance with data consolidation strategy, account design, custom reports, and training.  Work with client executive and account team to provide an integrated approach to risk management.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assesses client needs and develops basic specifications for CS STARS custom solutions to meet client specific business objectives.
Modifies existing report templates and develops ad hoc reports to meet client requirements.
Supports CS STARS within the firm and is a resource in the use and application of CS STARS tools.
Provides technical product support to complex clients. Trains clients on all aspects of the CS STARS system.
Installs and upgrades CS STARS software at client sites.
Develops and manages project plans to meet client expectations and prioritize work across multiple clients. Works with team leader to assure on time completion and profitability of project.
Identifies and pursues expanded revenue opportunities with clients and supports strategic new business initiatives.
Understands and can explain the CS STARS Service Agreement to clients. Initiates the contract renewal process for basic clients by developing service agreements and pricing models for review by the team leader.


Education and Experience:


A) Graduation from a college or university with a Bachelor's degree; and


B) Two years of related experience in information systems, finance, risk management, economics or statistics; or


C) Any equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience, with additional work experience substituting for the required education on a year for year basis.



Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

A) Working knowledge of PC and database technologies and basic understanding of risk management concepts;

B) Understands PL SQL triggers and stored procedure concepts. Can create queries, subqueries and joins within SQL+;

C) Demonstrates excellent problem solving skills;

D) Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing;

E) Ability to prepare and perform oral presentations to small groups

F) Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, officials and clients.
