This role controls the technical, business, and personnel aspects of consulting projects. Applies project management techniques and individual technical and or business knowledge to ensure client satisfaction with the quality of work product and project deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Strong planning background with experience in several of the following areas (don?t need all) Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Replenishment, Allocation, Merchandise Planning, Category Planning, Assortment Planning, Space Planning, Pricing Administration, Pricing Optimization or Markdown Optimization. Experience implementing technologies such as SAP APO, Manugistics, i2, e3, JDA Arthur, Logility, Retek, Profitlogics, Khimetrics, Demand Tech is a major plus. Experience selling large consulting engagements or software products a strong requirement. Excellent client facing skills and consulting experience required.
Requirements:
Minimum six years relevant work experience required, with a broad understanding of at least one area of supply chain operations (procurement, supplier management and development, purchasing/materials planning and management, and inbound transportation management. Experience ideally gained within a consulting environment. Demonstrated expertise in specific supply chain operations. Good working knowledge of inventory control/management or product standardization a plus. Experience required in definition, refinement, design, development, and delivery of technical and/or business solutions. Experience in services oriented sales desired. Possesses excellent oral and written communications skills, demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of current trends and technical advancements, and is flexible to travel extensively. College degree required, advanced degree preferred.
