Job Title: Clinical Systems AnalystJob Location: Yonkers, NYPosition Description: The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for analysis, clinical system maintenance, clinical system creation / tailoring, development and support of interfaces, and user training.

The Clinical Systems Analysts (various levels) will work on patient care systems, which include Electronic Medical Record Systems, Operating Room Systems, Patient Registration Systems, and/or Medical Records Systems.

 

Responsibilities include:Changing screens as per specificationsWriting reports as per specifications Analyze and record patient flow in user areasWriting queries to validate system setup, reportsDocument test plansExecute test planSupport clinical systemsDesign and change other system components as per specificationsDesign and implement various interfaces User trainingGo Live User supportOn-call support

 Skills:

1. SQL proficiency a plus

2. Working knowledge of a programming language (Cobol, Command Level CICS, Visual Basic, C)

3. Ability to analyze a problem and come up with a solution

4. HL/7 Interface protocol a plus

5. Excellent communication skills

6. Ability to work under pressure

7. Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the EMR systems a plus

8. Experience developing and/or maintaining any of the patient registration or scheduling systems is a plus

9. Ability to change screens and system tables using any commercially available tools is a plus

10. Pharmacy experience is a plus (pharmacist, pharmacy tech)

11. Excellent analytical skills

12. Any previous clinical experience a plus ( RN, ancillary technician, lab technician)
