Cloverleaf/Quovadx ver.5.3
Familiarity with HL7 2.2, 2.2b, and 2.3
Cloverleaf certification levels 1-3 a plus.


Group Summary:

Responsible for planning, conducting and coordinating business-programming activities in areas such as Unix, Databases, SAN, and interfaces for finance and patient care applications. Prepares system development cost estimates, budgets and schedules. Prepares and presents project proposals to management and user departments. Establishes programming standards and program documentation requirements. Reviews current status of system applications and prepares recommendations for systems improvements. Monitors design processes and prepares reports on systems projects.


Scope:
Receives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. Provides direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance. Work is reviewed by management to measure meeting of objectives. Administers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.
Recommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. Frequently interacts with customers and functional peer groups at management levels. Interaction normally requires the
ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc. Provides direct supervision to exempt employees and/or skilled nonexempt employees (i.e., programmer analyst).

Knowledge/Skills:
Experience in implementation of enterprise level projects and system administration for Cloverleaf/Quovadx ver.5.3
Knowledge and experience with protocols such as TCP/IP, FTP, and Telnet
Experienced programming skills using TCL and Unix shell
Ability to work with OS systems such as HP UNIX, AIX UNIX, and Windows NT ? 2003
Must be able to multitask, have good project management skills and good documentation skills.
Familiarity with HL7 2.2, 2.2b, and 2.3
Implementations experience with McKesson products a plus.
Cloverleaf certification levels 1-3 a plus.


Business Experience: 4+ year?s applications programming experience and demonstrated leadership skills

Education: 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
