Cognos Architect

Greenbrier & Russel has an immediate need for a Cognos Architect with the qualifications and desire to potentially help lead the Cognos practice within their Wisconsin region (Milwaukee, Madison, and Appleton) branch offices.  In the role, the selected candidate will serve primarily as a Data Warehouse Architect.  In addition to significant experience with Cognos, we are looking for a professional with the qualifications to work with our BI Practice Manager to continue to help build a rapidly growing BI practice.

 

Requirement Skills/Experience:

? 7+ years of Enterprise Data Warehouse experience

? 5+ years of Cognos Suite experience

? 3+ years of Cognos PowerPlay and ReportNet

? Experience with Cognos Metric Manager and Visualizer

? Experience with other Data Warehouse products such as Business Objects, Informatica, SAS, etc.

? Demonstrated successful experience in solving extremely complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors

? Experience with managing multiple projects and technical teams

? Experience providing business development support

? Professionalism, strong communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment are essential
